He is from Uduppi. He opens the shop around 4 am and keeps it open till 12 in the midnight. One can get milk, eatables, candles, emergency medicines, magazines, cool drinks, newspapers, cigars, soap, shampoo and much more. All in one - a very small shop. Any time one can see around 12 customers. He has an assistant ( I think it is his nephew) who does the 'relieving' act for the owner. Rarely his wife can also be seen. I have always seen him with 'Smile'. I appreciate his passion and the desire to satisfy people around him. This shop played a vital role in a short movie done by my daughter Subhashini Balasubramanian ( which won the best film award).
20 மணி நேரம் திறந்திருக்கும் எங்கள் தெரு முக்கு கடையின் பெயர் 'ஆசீர்வாத்'. அதன் முதலாளி திரு வேணுகோபால் புன்னகை, சுறுசுறுப்பின் மறு உருவம். இந்த கடையில் பத்திரிகை, நாளிதழ், தின்பண்டம், பால், மோர், தயிர், பேஸ்ட், சோடா, கூல் ட்ரிங்க்ஸ், வெத்தலை பாக்கு இன்னும் எவ்வளவோ கிடைக்கும். இவர் வீட்டிற்கு போகும் போது மனைவியோ அல்லது ஒரு அசிஸ்டண்ட் ஒருவரோ இருப்பது வழக்கம். இந்த கடையில் எப்போதும் ஒரு 10 - 12 பேரை ஒரே சமயம் பார்க்கலாம். அத்தனை பிஸி கடை. வாழ்க இவர் தம் பணி.
