Serving food with passion, love and smile

Our favorite food destination is Hotel Saravana Bhavan. The food is vegetarian/tasty/harmless - though it is expensive. We often go to Rangoli Restaurant of HSB in Pondy Bazaar and used to prefer a particular guy who serves food with lots of smile, respect and passion. His name is Lakshmana Raju. You get Gujarati and Rajasthani food there in Rangoli. The names of the dishes are very different. But This guy will serve each and every time with its name, how it is made and and the ingredients. He would in fact with love force you to eat a bit more...He is different from all others. Hats off to this guy who loves his job. Though he meets lots of customers every day ( through out the day), he remembers his customers. He also knows what we (in our family) like - he would serve that more/less. I was amazed of this specific trait. Just go there once to see and experience what I said.
சென்னையில் சைவ உணவகம் என்றால் அது ஹோட்டல் சரவணபவன் என்று பலரும் ஒத்துக் கொள்வர். ஒன்று சுவை, இன்னொன்று தரம், அடுத்தது உடலை பாதிக்காத தயாரிப்பு. நாங்கள் குடும்பத்தோடு விரும்பிப் போவது பாண்டி பஜாரில் உள்ள கிளை - அதுவும் ரங்கோலி என்று சொல்லக் கூடிய குஜராத்தி மற்றும் ராஜஸ்தானி சாப்பாடு கிடைக்கும் இடம். அதிலே லக்ஷ்மண ராஜு எனும் நண்பர் புன்னகை, அன்பு, உணவின் பெயர், தயாரிப்பு விதம், அந்த உணவில் உள்ள பொருட்கள் என்று அனைத்தும் வழங்கிப் பரிமாறும் வித்தகர். இவர் ஒரு தனித்தன்மை வாய்ந்த நபர். எத்தனையோ பேர் வந்து போகும் சமயத்தில் எங்கள் குடும்பத்தில் ஒவ்வொருவருக்கும் என்ன பிடிக்கும் என்று நினைவில் கொண்டு அதற்கேற்ப உணவு பரிமாறுவது கண்டு நான் பல முறை வியந்து போய் இருக்கிறேன். ஒரு முறை நீங்கள் சென்று பாருங்கள் ....நான் சொல்வது உண்மை என்று நம்புவீர்கள். இந்த அன்பர் பாராட்டுக்கு உரியவர். வாழ்க இவர் தம் சேவை. சம்பளத்தை தாண்டிய நேசம் இவருக்கு இவர் தம் வேலையில் உள்ளது.
