Sri Murugan Lending Library

Sri Murugan Lending Library which is more than 45 years old in our area and started by Mr. Mani and today due to his age and ailment - as a second generation guy - Mr. Seenu - Sreenivasan Vasan takes care of this responsibility along with his wife and few staff members. The specialty of this place is - he has over 50,000 books. Thousands of members (in the age group of 5 to 85). There are three divisions in this shop. One is this library which is air-conditioned, computerized etc. The next one is Books for sale. The other one is Gifts and Stationary items. This shop is a favorite destination for many. Reason is range, respect, rate and rare-service. You must visit to experience what is shared here. In fact, Seenu encourages/prescribes books to children depending on their age and interest. He is completely aware of what is available in his library. Any time this place is crowded. My sincere appreciation to Mr. Mani and his excellent training to his son to take care of this business. In this era of gadgets and social network - still people are reading books and people like Seenu make people continue the reading habit - a good service.
